Attracting over 1000 people a week, South East Queensland is growing rapidly. To ensure Queensland’s infrastructure meets this increasing demand, the Queensland Government has developed the South East Queensland Infrastructure Plan (SEQIP). The most comprehensive capital works program of its kind ever produced in Australia, SEQIP will roll out a number of major projects including highways, hospitals, schools, and water treatment plants. The Peron Group was engaged to establish and resource a Program Management Office (PMO) which advises on and manages the delivery of the Plan.
The Peron Group’s role includes the development of:
- appropriate governance structures for more efficient delivery of the program
- strategies to support the key government agencies with program management capabilities
- ways in which to engage the industry to gear up and skill up for SEQIP.
